Varias Especies de aves marinas, garzas y otras aves acuáticas anidan en la Bahía de Panamá y aprovechan la abundancia de peces para alimentar a sus crías. La mayoría anida en la estación seca, cuando el afloramiento  hace las aguas de la Bahía sean más productivas. 

Many  species of seabirds, herons and other aquatic birds nest in the Bay of Panama,, using its abundant fish to feed their young. Most nest in the dry season when upwelling makes the Bay's waters most productive.

PELÍCANO PARDO.

 

Más de mil parejas de pelícanos pardos anidan en la cercana Isla de Taboga, en donde se encuentra la mayor colonia de anidamiento en Centro América.

Brown Pelican

More than a thousand pairs of Brown Pelicans nest on nearby Taboga Island, the largest nesting colony in Central America.

El Ibis blanco y varies especies de garzas y garcetas anidan en manglares e islas pequeñas de la Bahía de Panamá.

White Ibis and many species of herons and egrets nest in mangroves and on small islands of the Bay of Panama.

MORÁN NEOTROPICAL.

Más de 5,000 cormoranes neotropicales anidan en la Isla Pacheca, al norte del Archipiélagoo de Las Perlas.

Over 5,000 Neotropic Cormorants nest on Pacheca in the northern Pearl Islands.
